Get to Know Allan Horner

Allan Horner has a passion to help lead others to potentially building and preserving their wealth, being a lifelong saver and investor himself.

He brings close to three decades of investment and financial experience to EP Wealth Advisors. Prior to joining EP Wealth Advisors, Allan founded Criterion Capital Advisors in 2005.

Allan earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Kentucky University.

He is active in the community, and the past Chairman of the Administrative Board at West End Methodist Church, where he has been a member for over 30 years. Allan started a men’s group called Back 9 which focuses on men leading full, meaningful lives as they age, which he continues to lead in his spare time. He currently serves as Board Chair of 4:13 Strong, a non-profit that helps inner city young men. Allan and his wife, Gretchen, have three children. Outside of the office, he enjoys running, reading, snow skiing, biking, hiking and almost all fitness activities.
